Attorney Brian Herrington has dedicated his career to obtaining justice for his clients while delivering the highest level of client service.

For more than 20 years, Brian has successfully represented consumers, small-business plaintiffs, and attorneys general in complex litigation. Brian began his legal career working extensively on behalf of the Attorneys General of 14 states in their fight against the tobacco industry. These cases recouped billions of taxpayers’ dollars spent treating tobacco-related illnesses. Since then, Brian has become a leader in class action litigation, winning verdicts and large settlements in class action matters ranging from antitrust and market manipulation cases to unfair and deceptive acts and practices.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Law Center where he clerked for the University’s General Counsel. Brian is admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions across the country including Mississippi, Tennessee, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Northern District of Florida, and the Fifth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Since 2018, Brian has put his extensive litigation experience to work in Schlanger Law Group’s Mississippi office, fighting for the rights of consumers in individual and class action matters.

Brian is a frequent speaker on topics such as class actions, mass torts, and arbitration. In his free time, Brian enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Brian is a member of St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Jackson, Mississippi.
