Marty Bienstock is a civil litigator with a passion for justice. A graduate of Yale Law School and Brooklyn College, Marty combines strategic vision, street-smart litigation skills and cost-sensitivity to efficiently achieve success for his clients.

Working of counsel with Schlanger Law Group, Marty regularly represents consumers in individual federal litigation and class actions, with a keen focus on identity theft litigation. Mary’s identity theft advocacy not only cases against traditional banks, but also cases against a variety of cryptocurrency platforms and fintech companies.

Prior to entering private practice, Marty worked as an Assistant AG for the New York Office of the Attorney General, where he worked on some of the largest cases in New York State history, many with billions of dollars at stake. While at the AG’s office, he received an award for outstanding service.

Marty also served as a Senior Assistant Counsel to the Governor and Special Counsel to the Department of Health, where he earned another award for outstanding service.

In private practice, Marty has helped his clients recover hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds in cases involving professional liability, and property damage claims.

Marty is a member of the New York State Bar Commission on the State Constitution, and the New York and Maryland State Committees on Health Care Law. He writes and lectures frequently.
