Schlanger Law Group LLP is an established and growing consumer protection law firm representing consumers in individual and class action litigation regarding inaccurate credit reporting, identity theft, and other unfair and deceptive misconduct.   We represent clients in New York, New Jersey and around the country. 

We currently have the following openings.

Litigation Attorney (Rochester Office) (Full Time)

We have an opening for an associate attorney to work out of our Rochester, New York office. The focus of the work will be litigating credit reporting and identity theft cases in federal court and arbitration, as well as assisting with class litigation against credit reporting agencies, financial institutions, and other businesses.

A minimum of 3-4 years of litigation experience required. Federal litigation experience, outstanding persuasive legal writing skills, and the demonstrated ability to advocate effectively in open court are all required.

Arbitration experience is a plus. Experience doing consumer protection or other plaintiff-side work (personal injury, employment, etc.) is a plus. You must be currently admitted to the New York bar. We pay a base salary plus outcome-based compensation.

Candidates will be expected to work from our office 3.5-4 days per week, with remote work possible 1-1.5 days per week.
